Gaming Weekly W48: Rogue Warrior
Monday, November 23, 2009
Rogue Warrior is a tactical first person shooter and is being developed by Rebellion Developments, published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was originally being developed by Zombie Studios who was in early development stages of the game but in the end Bethesda wasn’t satisfied with the direction that Zombie Studios had taken the game, they scrapped the project and brought in Rebellion Development to start from scratch and finish the job.
Navy Seal Richard Marcinko

In the game you control a veteran Navy SEAL called Richard Marcinko, he’s beging sent on a mission into North Korea to disrupt ballistic missile launchers. The plot is loosely based on the autobiography of the game’s protogonist Richard.
The game is said to be a first person shooter with tactical elements, the primary goal of the game begins as an infilitration mission to disrupt hostile missiiles and prevent other potentially dangerous situations. To achieve this goal the player get’s several different firearms at his disposal as well as explosives, there is also the classical array of explosive barrels and gas tanks.
The main feature this game is the signature execution moves that can be pulled off when close to the enemy, a press of several buttons may trigger an instant kill with a flashy move, the in-game camera then shifts to a third-person cinematic angle to show off the move. The game will also feature a cover-system allowing blindfire and pop-in-and-out of cover.
Much of the gameplay features are actually shown in the official trailer
The game is set to be released soon, I think the current releasedate is November 27th.
