The awesomeness of Trine
Friday, September 4, 2009Sounds promising right? Well it is, this sweet game has already had its release on the PC, you can download it from steam. What the rest of the world is waiting for though is the release of the game for Playstation Network.
Get lost in the magical world of Trine
It’s the cool developers at Frozenbyte whom are creating this awesome fantasy adventure/puzzle game. You play as three different classes to solve puzzles and progress through the story. As you can see on gametrailers it looks awesome and it plays awesomely.
There are three characters to choose from : The wizard, the knight and the thief. The wizard has the ability to summon boxes and moving things around with his magic. He’s the typical wizard, fragile and useless in a real fight (since he doesn’t have fireball or chain lightning =P). The thief is the agile and mobile character, she has the ability to grapple, swing and shoot arrows. The knight is the typical knight, strong and dependable. Using these three characters you take on the games campaign, during the campaign you’ll be able to switch character whenever.
The real deal though, is the games co-op multiplayer where communication is critical to the survival of the group. Each player can control one of the three characters and together you will have to overcome the game’s puzzles and obstacles. The releasedate on PSN is “soon”, the developers at Frozenbyte seems to be having some difficulties unfortunately. It is said to be this month though, we can hope for the best, keep your eye on this one fellas.
