Xbox Live Demos w37
Saturday, September 12, 2009So I tried out some of the demos that has come out on Xbox Live the latest weeks. There were some quite interesting demos up.
Fifa 10
Fifa, the classical soccer/football-series. I played Fifa 09 some and I actually bought the game. In my opinion I’d say that Fifa 10 exceeds the 09 version on everything. The animations are smoother which allows for a smoother gameplay, the instant freekick mechanic is neat. You’ve got better AI, better ball-control with the new 360 degree control, the controls are more responsive, the physical tackles looks and feels better. When you shoot it actually feels like there are some power behind the shot. That’s some changes I noticed.
It seems to be a solid game, and I guess EA will have their usual sales with Fifa 10 within the top 5 on the charts.
WET
Bethesda Softworks latest published game, suprised? I am. The game is actually developed by Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M). WET is a third-person shooter for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. In WET you play as Rubi Malone, a twin handgun and sword-wielding babe. She takes down her foes with her acrobatic movements mixed with some bullet time which allows for some pretty sweet moments.
I actually liked the game, it’s pretty clear that it’s not a serious game, it feels like the developers conveys the message instantly that this is an action game. So I’m not expecting a deep story behind it all and if you look past the obvious sex appeal you’ll see that it’s a pretty solid action game. I like the sex appeal anyways it’s nothing wrong with that in a game, I don’t care what people say. I’d rather play as a super-fit and acrobatic babe than a overweight clumsy one.

So I haven’t actually downloaded this game since I already own the PC-version of the game. But for those who haven’t played this game yet, please do. It’s awesome and very addicting.
